Iguazu in 2 Days: Argentina & Brazil Sides of Iguazu Falls

1.Iguazu in 2 Days: Argentina & Brazil Sides of Iguazu Falls

★★★★★★★★★★4.1 · 154 reviews · 2 days · from $86Our pick

See both sides of Iguazu Falls with bilingual guides, shared airport transfers, and hotel pickup in Puerto Iguazu. Spend a full day on Argentina’s Upper and Lower Circuits, then cross into Brazil for 1,200 meters of panoramic walkways and a glass-elevator view. Confirm your border documents and park fees before booking.

“This tour was great for what we wanted - transportation to both sides of the falls and a basic orientation when we got there. Great communication, they emailed confirmation two days before and told our hotel when they'd pick us up. Only a handful of the group was going to both sides (most did just Argentina) and Romina was great about helping us make our own plan for the Argentine side so we'd be back at the entrance to catch the transfer to Brazil. The guides were terrific on both sides and we're glad we did the full tour in one day.”

Iguazú Experience in 2 days: Argentine and Brazilian Falls

2.Iguazú Experience in 2 days: Argentine and Brazilian Falls

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 149 reviews · 2 days (approx.) · from $89

This two-day trip visits Argentina’s Iguazú National Park and Brazil’s Iguaçu National Park from Puerto Iguazú. You’ll walk beside Argentina’s cascades, face Devil’s Throat, then see the great falls from Brazil’s broadest viewpoint. Bilingual guides such as Marco, Gisela, Carlos, or José Luis may lead the groups, with hotel and airport transfers included.

“We were the only two of our group that booked to see both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides of Iguassu Falls. Therefore, our tour guide didn't bring us to meet up with the other tour guide for the Brazilian side after we finished seeing the Argentinian side. He gave us verbal instructions to meet up with the other tour guide in the main entrance. He told us to take the train ourselves in the national park. However, no workers in the train station speak English and could help us. When I asked which train can take us to the central station, the worker just showed me the way and it…”

Iguazu Falls: Visit to Argentinian and Brazilian Side in two days

3.Visit to Argentinian and Brazilian Side in two days

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 67 reviews · 2 days (approx.) · from $190

Spend two days seeing Iguazu Falls from both countries with hotel pickup, a local guide, and groups capped at 15. Walk Argentina’s Upper and Lower Circuits and the 1,100-meter Devil’s Throat walkway, then follow Brazil’s 1,500-meter panoramic trail. Guides such as Macarena, Jala, Paharo, and Fredrico have earned strong praise, but park tickets and optional boat rides cost extra.

“The falls and park are amazing, this review is not about them because they will be amazing no matter who you do the tour with. The tour was punctual and well organised in terms of getting from place to place and swift processing through immigration between the two countries. But if you’re expecting to learn anything about the falls (e.g. height, width, volume of water, history, navigability, number of cataracts, river systems forming the falls, effects of climate change etc) or about the park, then this tour is not for you. We learned zero information about the falls and park other than I should keep to the left tracks. This…”

“The first day was great because of the places we visited, the guide and the organization, but the second day did not meet our expectations. We were left to explore the Pucará archaeological site alone without explanations inside and we did not have time to visit Tilcara. In Huamahuaca we could not visit the church and we stopped for a moment just to photograph the painter's palette. I would only do the first day. The second is not worth it. And thank goodness we stayed overnight in Purmamarca on our own, because going back 3 hours to Salta to sleep to undo the 157 kms the next day makes no…”

Visit one or two wineries, taste Torrontés, stay overnight in Cafayate, then return to Salta the next afternoon. Spanish is the stated guide language, though English may be available.

“Whilst our time in Cafayate was pretty memorable, the services provided by the company were quite disappointing. We were initially picked up 20 minutes late after specifically being asked to be on time, leaving us waiting at a the tour company’s office; the tour guide offered no apology for this. Additionally tour guides seem to be freelancers and not work for the company, therefore quality completely depends, whilst our guides spoke great English, neither seemed terribly interested in the content they were explaining. The 3-4 hour drive to/from Cafayate is unfortunately quite uncomfortable as the minibuses the company use seem to have the cheapest seats that they could fit, with…”
